Overview:

Skill Line Academy is CICR's sports empowerment program, with a focus on football. We believe that sports can be a powerful tool for personal development, offering children opportunities to build confidence, teamwork skills, and even gain educational scholarships.

Objectives:

• Provide structured training to enhance both football abilities and personal growth, including teamwork and leadership.
• Partner with schools to offer scholarships, enabling talented players to pursue education alongside sports.
• Identify and support promising footballers to reach professional levels while fostering community engagement through tournaments and events.

Key Components:

• Football Training: Regular training sessions led by experienced coaches, aimed at developing both skills and character.
• Scholarship Opportunities: Partnering with schools to provide scholarships to talented footballers, enabling them to pursue education alongside their passion for sports.
• Annual Tournaments: Hosting events like our Annual Football Camp, which brings together children from various regions to compete and learn.

Achievements

Two of our players, Kasumba Reagan and Muwanguzi Timothy, have gone on to sign with clubs in the Uganda Premier League, a testament to the program’s success in nurturing talent.
