Overview:
CICR plans to construct a primary level school to provide practical skills training for children and young adults, empowering them to secure jobs or start businesses. Offering training in trades like carpentry, tailoring, mechanics, and agriculture, the school will help address youth unemployment in Uganda and promote self-reliance.
Objectives:
- Equip youth with practical skills for employment and self-reliance.
- Reduce unemployment by offering market-aligned vocational courses.
- Promote entrepreneurship by teaching business and vocational skills.
Key Components:
- Land Acquisition: Purchase land for the school.
- Design & Construction: Build classrooms, workshops, and administrative offices equipped for vocational training.
- Staff Recruitment: Hire qualified instructors and administrators.
